This quote comes alive to me now during pregnancy. It's as if I can see myself through a lens of development that I never grasped before. As I see these babies develop and grow I realize that I too am developing and growing and that I will always continue to do so. In becoming pregnant I have set in motion an unstoppable motion for two new beings. It's a sense of forward motion. In some ways it feels exhausting thinking of all that there is to experience and learn and in so many other ways it feels exhilarating knowing that there is always more to gain.
I've said it before & I'll say it again. These girls are so lucky to have such a reflective & thoughtfully aware mama! It's so true that being a mother makes you want to be a better person...
