Expecting
The past week we made it to 35 weeks and the doctor told us that at 36 weeks we are in the clear for these girls to be born! I've noticed that suddenly everything seems to be moving in slow motion. The days are long and peaceful. As if I am holding my breath and that the entire world is suspended in anticipation...waiting...waiting...waiting. Two new lives are on the verge of beginning...on the very precipice of becoming-- moving from their tiny quiet watery world into this big beautiful and unpredictable one... from being hidden to being known. Its the truest meaning of expecting that I've ever known.

ReplyDeleteI have absolutely loved reading your blog and following your pregnancy, I have decided your pretty awesome!!! I can't wait to see pics of those beautiful little girls your are carrying and reading about your adventures into motherhood!! I hope and pray all goes smoothly for you over the coming weeks and enjoy this time and the blessings that are coming!! When you head back to Kansas sometime, I hope we can catch up with you guys sometime!! :) We will be thinking about you and Matt the next few weeks!!
What a neat way to think about it. I am sincerely sad I haven't seen you once during your whole pregnancy, but I am with you in spirit my friend. Love you and your babies!
ReplyDeleteThere really is nothing else in this whole human experience that compares to waiting for babies to be born! Holding you in prayer and love and sending sweet thoughts to those baby girls about to arrive!
