It was a very small group of friends. We shared inspiration and joy and I got a henna tattoo on my 37 week pregnant belly. Here is a link about the artist (and doula) Amy Swagman. You may recongnize her art.
We shared memories and tears and I was so humbled. The girls made me a necklace that I wore in my birthing time. Each of them added a bead and I carried their strength with me into the birth of Avi. It was everything I imagined and hoped it would be.
